When to go for the automatic???

We've been screen printing for about 6 years now. We're starting to take on a lot more contract accounts. We run a 6 color Hopkins manual press and have a printer with a hell of a work ethic. On average he works 50-60 hrs per week. Anyway, we're staring to see our jobs averaging 72-100 pcs and I was wondering what advice anyone had on making the transition to the automatic press. Models, options, things to avoid. etc...
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Automatic presses are best suited for 480+ shirt runs.
The set-up is a little more labor intensive.
The Newman Roller Frames are a bit more $$$ but worth the price.
Check out M & R which has a reliable line of presses.

With a 72 shirt, 6 color run on an automatic press, (after set-up) the job will last about 10 minutes.
So, you see, you'll want steady 480+ shirt runs to make this cost effective.
