Wife is gifted designer, exploring a startup screen print biz

Hello,
A newbie to this forum. My wife is a gifted and experienced designer/illustrator. Makes a lot of money for large established sportswear companies and of course, no royalties. We would like to explore how to put her efforts into income that will come back to us. She knowsthe Adobe programs inside out and makes seps. I'm a long time production manager from the ink on paper printing world. Our weakness is sales/marketing. It seems from some posts that a good strategy is to outsource production at first. Any suggestions for how to proceed for us?
