I routed mine out on a CNC router table upside down and predrilled the holes for the brackets out of melamine. What you are talking about would take aboutan hour to route out plus matterial (assuming you made a good vector file to route)

We have 16"x 36" used aluminum pallets ,it could be cut to 14"
