Hi gang!
I have 1 dozen of these totes to stitch out on the outer pocket. What would be the best needle for me to use?? I have 75/11s but am betting they will not hold up too well, my design is just under 8000 stitches, basically a patch!
Any input would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Re: 10oz Canvas Tote
Hey Laurie,
I have a customer that orders 12oz totes, with a 26,000 stitch design on them, I use 75/11 sharps and run them at 900 (on Barudan) Try it at 850 if thats your norm. Worst that can happen is you have thread breaks, or a needle break, in which case ... slow it down.

Re: 10oz Canvas Tote
Laurie, I have done various totes at 6500 stitches and never switched from a 75/11. Try one bag, and slow the machine to 850 spm

Re: 10oz Canvas Tote
Thanks!
I have an AMAYA and am on the dicussion board there too...
I was aslo told that the 75/11 should be fine, to just make sure it sharp!
I do run at 850 on an average... guess that means I will be slowing down. :P
Thanks again
laurie :)
