Now that the year is half over... how has the economy been treating you this year compared to last. Here in San Antonio we have not been affected too much by any National downturn, but 2 larger screen print / embroidery houses have gone out of business so far this year. I also have noticed some small Mom and Pops leaving the industry around here and fewer getting into it and starting a new company.
But that is just around here, how is it where you are?

Re: 2008 Is Half over, how are sales compared to last year?
I have a home based embroidery business and my sales are up almost 50% and we are 4 years old. I am almost at the point that I am having to move into a building. The economy hasn't hurt us, yet.

Local sales (South Jersey) are about the same although profits are up. Web sales continue to increase. I haven't heard anything about anyone else in the area.
