Hi everyone,
Recently had an employee quit on us, only to find that she had been using her own digitizing s/w, and saving her files in .sti.
We use Wilcom, and these files are useless unless we can get them converted.
Anyone out there with an old version of the datastitch s/w for sale? We have around 1600 .sti files here, and we're not quite sure which ones we need.
The perfect solution would be someone who could convert 1 or 2 at a time, and charge us per file on a periodic invoice.
Thanks in advance,
Tod

Is there any other way you can help him?

Re: DataStitch .sti file conversion
There is no way you can get these files in EMB unless digitized! You can try and convert them to DST... If any of your friend or someone you know uses stitch2000 software, he/she can convert it to DST and you can use DST Files in Wilcom!

Sorry to say but this is wrong advice.
If you will get then redone, the digitizer will make the design that will most likely not be a perfect copy of your old file and therefore will not be a copy of the last order you did for your customer which can lend you in problems unless you are willing to get the new digitized files sampled and approved again with your customer.

Best way to convert them is to redo them for Wilcom EMB, If you are willing to pay for the design. There are plenty of cheap and quality services you can go with...
