Digitizers: Do you ever digitize anything just for fun?

Robert Young's picture

Do you ever digitize anything just because you would like to? Do you have embroidered items that you have done around your home or office just because you wanted them? Framed pieces maybe or tablecloths or pillows or whatever? Is digitizing and embroidery a visible part of your life or is it just the career or job you do?

Sorry AlisonB this trip was a few years ago. 8 of us experienced 3.5 weeks of Tents (from permanent structures to ones that moved with us with bathrooms/showers attached on the back to pups over elephant droppings), lodges (from up in the trees to private homes, etc) Took the blue train from Pretoria to Cape Town and a helicopter over Victoria Falls as well as small fast boats in the Okavango Delta Thank goodness for digital cameras since I alone took over 5500 images!

I would still like to embroider many of them. I want to sew a large BaoBob tree and then order stock animal designs and sew them all around the base. "Creative use of Stock Designs" used to be a competition category. No mas.

All from Digitizing!!!

yes, very lucky. I have recently moved to the US / Mexican border region but for years I lived in San Antonio..... amazing how many locals have never been to the Alamo!

But in college in New York it seemed like the landmarks there were never visited.

I capture mine in thread. craZy.
