Does anyone know anything about Phoenix embroidery machines, are they a dependable machine? Service issues? etc.

Phoenix 540 is no longer made. It is just a Chinese machine and the man who came up with them and sold them is no longer taking phone calls. The 540 is actually the area code he is in which is 540 Roanoke which happens to be where I live as well. I used to work on several of them.
