EmbroideryWare Free Digitizing Program

Hi Everyone,

I am writing a free program for machine embroidery. It's totally free. I started the project about three months ago because I wanted to create a program that would do interesting stitching along a path that my commercial software did not do.

It has evolved to something much more than that. The satin stitching is pretty complete. I am still refining fills, they work but do more jumps than I would like.

I know this is a commercial embroidery forum. Though some of you might like what I am doing.

Please check it out and let me know what you think of my program.

Hi Everyone,

I am pleased to announce that I now have a web page http://www.embroiderywaresoftware.com/
My web page will be the best place to see what is going on with EmbroideryWare development.

EmbroideryWare is still free. I have a storefront where it can be download for free.

The program will still be up on sourceforge too. I think the webpage though in the long run will be a better way to communicate with my users.

Hi Everyone- A new version of EmbroideryWare is up 1.0.3.1. I think I am going to try and take a break for the summer. :)

This release has a lot of new features. Keyboard lettering and satin columns are some of the ones I think make the program close to finished. I hope you all enjoy it. I had fun developing it. The beach is calling me and a tan is waiting... but I am sure I will be tempted to develop some more.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that EmbroideryWare has moved into a new phase. It is now a hobby buisness. Wish me luck and thank you for trying the beta version.

I want to personally thank anyone who has given me feedback. I have learned alot along the way and have some wonderful plans for the program.

If your are interested in what I am up to with EmbroideryWare you can check out the web page http://embroiderywaresoftware.com

Thanks for complementing me on my software!

I use Stitch Era as my commercial software. I like using it. I use the express version which does basic running stitches, zigzags and Estiches. The more advance version probably does more.

After using one commercial program I felt that it was very hard to learn. I found it hard to make the stitches do exactly what I wanted. I read a good book, Digitizing Made Easy by John Deer, which inspired me to create a simple program.

I had recently got a viking designer diamond. It has some embroidery designs which have interesting stitches almost like they were done hand. I asked myself how do I do this in stitch era? The thumbnail below shows one of the things I wanted to achieve. The small stitch object in the center is applied to the two symmetrical curves.

So I decided to write a program to do these special stitches along a path. Since that first step about two months ago I decided to continue with other features. I am pretty proud of where I am now.

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I posted. EmbroideryWare has a lot of new features since you have looked at in the past.

It still is the most reasonably price digitizing software out there and new things are being added often.

Also those who use it are giving it great reviews.

Check it out today at.

Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503)

Reason: Exceeded the maximum global requests per minute for crawlers or humans.

Important note for site admins: If you are the administrator of this website note that your access has been limited because you broke one of the Wordfence firewall rules. The reason your access was limited is: "Exceeded the maximum global requests per minute for crawlers or humans.".

If this is a false positive, meaning that your access to your own site has been limited incorrectly, then you will need to regain access to your site, go to the Wordfence "options" page, go to the section for Rate Limiting Rules and disable the rule that caused you to be blocked. For example, if you were blocked because it was detected that you are a fake Google crawler, then disable the rule that blocks fake google crawlers. Or if you were blocked because you were accessing your site too quickly, then increase the number of accesses allowed per minute.

If you're still having trouble, then simply disable the Wordfence firewall and you will still benefit from the other security features that Wordfence provides.

If you are a site administrator and have been accidentally locked out, please enter your email in the box below and click "Send". If the email address you enter belongs to a known site administrator or someone set to receive Wordfence alerts, we will send you an email to help you regain access

Sorry about that. I have adjusted my firewall to prevent this. The firewall is there to protect the website from hackers.

Hope you try EmbroideryWare. It's a fun program.
