FastRip Dongle issue

varsityink's picture

So I have my dongle but FastRip won't install because I can't find the original CD. Is there a way to reset the product license file for the installation disk so this dang dongle will work?

No but if you know you dongle # you can upgrade to Filmmaker. Or contact cadlink they are the makers but I'll guess they'll want you to upgrade to help you since they weren't the sellers. If you have 2 files there is a way to reinstall and make your version work PM me for info

Hopefully this will help, I had problems with FastRip and Dongle before.

If you already have FastArtist/Rip installed then leave it there. Email Alex at Equipmentzone, awesome company and awesome guy to know. alex@equipmentzone.com

If you are having the problem like I was having which was my dongle would key would not recognize my FastRIP (license number), let him know the following in an email:

1) What is the dongle number on your dongle? This is the number on the white label of your dongle that starts with "D#"

2) What version of FastArtist do you have? This will be written on your software CD. It will either be 1, 1.5. or 1.5.1.

3) What version of Windows do you have?

He will then send you a couple files to overwrite your current ones. Once done your setup will be running 100%.

If you are simply looking for the FastArtist/RIP cds, I 'may' still have mine around here somewhere (I dont DTG anymore) and can rip them and send them over, maybe as an ISO file so you can RIP them to your own cds.

Let me know, I know the frustration that comes with the dongles.

I have the #of a tech support guy who worked for the fast rip people. He does free lance work and is reasonable. Let me know if you need it.
