Free Tees for Prom/Summer Ball

I only want to make prom tees and summer ball tees for the kids in my small (1600) town of mostly underprivileged kids in town. I don't intend to make a business out of it. I would like a heat press and maybe an embroidery machine. Local companies keep pushing me towards the Babylock Esante which looks awesome but is $3000. This seems like a lot of money for me not to be making money from this little hobby. I have a little larger kids so I thought I would need at the very least a 15x15 press but don't know if the Ellure machine would be sufficient for what I need. Also, they tell me this Corel Drawings X3 will not be useful to me at all for embroidery. SOmeone help me. Any info will be more than greatly appreciated. I really need to make some final decisions as the prom is April 21. Thanks so much.

Hello Amy in Illinois,
As far as I know, Corel Draw is only good for screen printing and the like. Also Web page layouts and most all publishing needs. Unforunatly, it does not cover Embroidery.
Now I'm basing this on the fact that I use Corel Draw 10. Have since it came out. Corel X3 shouldn't be all that different.

Best of luck to you..............Greg

It is my understanding that Corel made a program called Drawings which is what you said you had that incorporated digitizing into the vectored program called Draw. I have not used this program but I know Corel was talking about releasing something like it not too long ago.
