I realize not all designs are good embroidery designs, but here's my question: Is it feasible to create and digitize a design consisting only of small text, such as:
Mary had a little lamb
it's fleece was white as snow
Every where that Mary went
the lamb was sure to go!
where the design would be considered a whole graphic, not comprised of single files of digitized lettering strung together? Also the text would be anywhere from 1/4" to 1". Is this "do-able"?
Re: A good idea for an embroidery design?
I wouldn't go much smaller than .25" on lettering and make it regular block font so it will sew out well. If you have 4 lines of text, of letters that are .25", that would make the whole design at 1" tall or a little more.

Re: A good idea for an embroidery design?
Depending on the fabric it will go on, I would stay above .25in size.
make sure to use some underlay. Center walk works great on small letters.
PM me if you need the design done.
Thanks
Re: A good idea for an embroidery design?
I think CMIMMS is talking about something like an all-over print on fabric.
But instead of using screen print, they want to use embroidery..
