I am sorry if I am not posting this in the correct spot but we are looking for a new commercial embroidery machine. We are just not sure what to get for sure weather it be a happy , swf etc Would love any input as sometimes they say brand names mean alot when buying items and in others price does so we are lost at where to start for sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much :)
Re: help with finding the right commercial machine
I have 2 Tajima Neos for sale with all hoops and cap attachments. Very easy to learn and use - quality stitching.

Re: help with finding the right commercial machine
Support, Support, Support.... can't say it enough.
If you are new to embroidery, training and support will far outway price. Find dealers that are near to you and see what they have to offer.
Many machines out there that perform well but there is a HUGE difference in the level of support in this industry.
Have a great day! :)

Re: help with finding the right commercial machine
I got a Tajima Neo 5 years ago and I will never regret it. It is the perfect one head starter machine and I've still not out grown it. Company support it tops!
Re: help with finding the right commercial machine
Swf makes some great machines for entry level check out the SWF/E-UK1502DM. But like stated before Support is a HUGE factor in learning. Also machines can run you from a Brother at $4k - an SWF at $90K+. Now's the time to shop these products since the economy is slow.
Let us know how it goes.

Re: help with finding the right commercial machine
Whatever you do make sure that you can get hands on machine and software training. I purchased Tajima and haven't regretted that choice although I received very little machine training. I also attended training at SWF east in NJ and that was excellent. At the time you could attend as much training as you wanted - a great benefit for a new embroiderer. Also inquire about phone/online/email support. Some brands have online groups such as http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TajimaUsers/ .
