Help with new Tajima NEO?? Find center?

I just got a "new to me" 2006 Tajima NEO and I am trying to stitch with it tonight and cant seem to use it like I am used to. Is there any way to get the machine to go to the center of the design?? My Brothers all trace from the center of the design out to the corners and then it goes back to the center. This NEO seems to trace from the point where the first stitch is made then to then to the four corners then back to the first stitch spot. This makes marking the center USELESS. Is there any way to get it to find the center for me??

Thanks

Hi,
I dont have a Tajima but I would think it works the same as my Barudan. The centering is done from the digitising program before you upload it to the machine. Center the design in your software then upload. Ie; X and Y points at zero.
Hope this is helpful.
The Brother machines that I have seen have on board software and automatically center the design.

First you have to ensure that your design's origination point is center of the design. Origination point sometimes is not center (especially in older designs) but rather the location of the first stitch. Check that or many software systems have a control that you can "auto center" design. Make sure you export in .DST.

Then - you want to check your manual for the machine and see if there are trace preferences. The trace may have controls to end at first stitch or center or bottom right, etc...
