First of all, take a deep breath :) Everything's going to be fine. Which digitizing program do you have?

My life is digitized

Hi,

As Anahit asked, what digitizing software are you using? Also if you are starting off with no prior knowledge of digitizing, I would strongly recommend that you first find out if the company that you purchased your software from has any training classes. If so, I would encourage you to attend. If you are thinking this is something that you can just jump in and go, I think you are in for a rude awaking. I have no doubt that you can learn to digitize but it takes months and even years to understand enough to honestly feel comfortable sending work out. Give yourself the time to get your fundamentals down, starting with learning all you can about embroidery.

Any digitizer in this forum can tell you what button to click or what settings to use for "this, that and the other", but in all honesty, it's not going to help you much if at all! You need hands on training and time. Till you get to that point, there are many contract digitizers that you can use to outsource your work till you are able to carry the load!

I think you will find the people in this forum quite helpful and generous with their knowledge! (take full advantage of it) ;-)

Best wishes to you!

JJ, I too am very new to this business. I made a decision at the start that I couldn't learn how to put the stitches on the garment and digitizing at the same time. A bad digitized design can create more headaches for you than you can imagine.

As others here have said, I would contract out the digitizing stuff. And since he has posted on this thread, I would give "The Art of Design" a chance to show what he can do. I promise you will not be disappointed. I have used him from the start and man am I ever so glad we hooked up.

Good luck to you
