I'm frustrated with this machine. I am looking at a Brother 6000D for sale locally for $1000... I just can't spend all my time rethreading, changing needles, and being told "oh you used the wrong stabilizer" any longer... Heck I embroidered a test pattern with a zillion stitches without stabilizer and it looked better than most of my stabilized sew outs. Class are a joke here... great teacher who loves to talk for 3 hours and can care less if she actually gave you any information... who is an artist and see no problem with my $10000 Ellisimo showing Brother thread numbers to get the same design as shown on the screen or in the book that came with the machine... but why did they sell me over $400 of Madeira Treasure Chest thread that is NOT in my $10000 machine? Also my machine has all 4 $600 upgrades but none of the parts that came with the upgrades? Their answer? Oh but you got such a good deal..... Good deal that the $600 upgrade for the continuous hoop without the hoop is useless and the store wants only $399 to give me the hoop.... Thanks for the rant....
Re: New pre-owned Ellisimo owner in Tulsa
You bought this used machine from a dealer? If you have paperwork showing the upgrades were included then the upgrades should have been included with the sale. Was the sale final or was there a return policy?
