I am considering adding a commercial embroidery machine - I have researched the Melco Amaya XT - I am new to commercial side of embroidery and need to start low - any ideas on which machine I should consider
Re: Needed Commercial Embroidery
Make sure there is a local tech. For what it's worth, I love my Barudan.

I have been using SWF for the past 9 years. Wouldn't use anything else.

Re: Needed Commercial Embroidery
when someone uses the adjective "commercial" I just cannot see a machine that appears to have alot of plastic on it... I tend to think of any of the models that are primarily metal....small or large singleheads in your case... something from Tajima, SWF, ZSK, or Barudan.
But hey, maybe I am just rougher on them than others may be. lol.

You'll probably be happy will any of the above so consider which provider offers the best training and service in your area. Let the salesmen know you are considering the other brands so you can get the best deal. If you can attend a tradeshow such as ISS that would be very helpful.
