Heat Transfer

Hey ya'll thinking about getting some heat transfer vinyl to make some names for my boy's little league team's jerseys. I've never done this before but have you got any tips for me? I've been cutting good old regular vinyl for wall decorations and such and found it to be pretty easy. Are there any things i need to be aware of?

Thanks!

You really need good quality heat seal vinyl from Stahls or Dalco. There are others out there but you are asking for trouble in the long run. You also need a good 350 degree heat source that can put some pressure down. An iron will not work. Wehave had customers come in our shop asking us to "FIX" their jerseys that were either done at home or with substandard vinyls by other companies. We are happy to oblige. We also like to educate as we go along. We are often asked why do we do this. We will tell you we want you to have a good experience and 3000 athletic uniforms a year with a .5 percent return or fix rate does not lie.
