Hi
Looking to get into the embroidery sector coming from a design background. Plan is to eventually to work for embroidery company as a designer.
Just trying to get my head round a few basic functions.
If i have two objects and i don't want the thread to jump between them how do i instruct this.
Cheers
Johnn

If your working in wilcom you will need to select the area and and make your in and outs in different spots. You can also goin you trim tab and reset your trims
Re: Wiclom 2006
Yeah, if the objects are close, just make the in and out point as close as possible, so it won't show too much. But if they are far apart, jumping is the only option.

Well in Wilcom its very easy highlight the 2 areas for instant in the wording if you have a T and I
like TI
the end point on the T will be at the bottom and the start point at the I will be at the bottom which means it will not trim. You can go to re-shape ICON and move your start point so it trims, if it is still triming that means its less than 6mm. Highlight that area go to connectors tab change your length to less than 6mm or click always trim for that area and it will trim.
Very important for triming, it takes at least 20 seconds to trim, that time does add up and costs money. Most people can never see the connector and even if you can they understand that, thats how embroidery looks.
Wilcom is your best bet for digitizing!!
