Stitchitizer help?

Hi there,
I have gotten a pair of Toyota 820s and an old computer with Stitchitizer loaded on it. Can someone give me a hand with the program? I have the ability to build a dst file but I'm having problems opening it in that program to make the machine read it. I was shown how, but it was the half blind showing the blind as the previous owner barely remembered the program. He got it to eventually work but I can't get it to do it again.:confused:
So is there someone who remembers this old program and may kick me down the right road? I would love to get these old girls running.
