I have heard of commercial sash frames for Tajima machines. No one seems to be able to give me a discription of one. I plan on using one for horse blankets, upholstery, car interiors, furniture, etc....
Any one out ther familiar enough with one to describe how they might use it and how it is attached to a Tajima commerical machine?

Re: Sash Frame
Hi, Are you looking for using it on a single head or a multihead? Either way the concepts are about the same.. you either clamp the material directly to the sash (nothing more than a large hoop actually) Or you can clamp only pellon to the sash, cut out the entire center leaving only 2 inches all the way around... then on the 2 inch border of the pellon that is still there you can place carpet tape... or any strong double sided tape...... then you simply tape down the material... sew your design, and remove the material without messing up your pellon template..... Just remember not to sew larger than the opening you have created in the pellon....Just one way to achieve your embroidery.
