My unsolicited testimonial of M&R companies

Everyone likes to give a good review of a company when they have a good transaction here is mine.

We bought a brand new MSP3140 exposure unit and Triloc.

Unit was shipped with in one week and in our shop in three days as advertised.

The MSP had to be dismantled and moved through two 36" door ways. I called M&R for tech help on this procedure I was immediately put in contact with Israel who called me back in minutes. He gave a me a quich run down on the job and also sent me an already prepared PDF on how to do this. With in minutes Glen Carliss also called to see if I had help.

I dismantled the machine moved it and reassembled no problems. Wow Israel called back and wanted to confirm everything went smooth very nice of him.

Now the unit itself holy crap it is beautiful all I can say is its a solid machine built for the abuse it will take over the years. It came with a manual (novel idea) and get this the blue prints! Yes the blue prints in case you ever need to do repair or have an electrician look at it.

The TRiloc is a wonderful peice of precision parts, I am still setting it up but I have full confidence it will work wonders for us.

Get this Glen Carliss calls me back and asks how the Triloc is working I explain I need to still come up with some type of alignment grid and he tells me that all presses bought come with one and he will see if he can get me one. Next day I have a package with an awesome alignment grid and two loupes for registering Thanks Glen!

What we at TEE IT UP have learned is that it is makes much more sense to go with a company that has a great support network and well organized. Hell we cannot even get a manual for a complex 30 something thousand dollar press nor the flash, let alone blue prints.

Yes M&R may be higher money than others but as many should be able to see R&D and support networks are the benefits of this, not to mention complete confidence the company will always be around and not fold up or worse the rep or owner walks away from his customers.

This was my testimonial it was well deserved. No we did not get any of the equipment for free we paid for it just like everyone else does imagine that, and no I was not asked to post this, I just wanted to because like I said it is deserved.

Thanks for the testimonial Mike. Glad we could be of service!!

Here is my testimony:

Bought a new DB in 07.

Delivered on time.

As advertised

In 5 years never had a issue with the machine that would need a tech

In 5 years I have spent a total of 150.00 on parts that broke....And these were user errors. And they were easily changeable.

Overall satisfaction-----Excellent
Would I buy another----heck yes! And WILL.

Jon

To add my 2 pesos (not worth much). I called tech support or sales, I can't recall which, and wanted to know if the older 3140 could be taken apart (for the same purposes as Mike's) and the shipping weight of said beast.

I was put on hold so they could put me in touch with Israel and he was glad to help me with my questions about a piece of gear they had not touched in YEARS and I'd be buying from someone else.

Much respect for Israel over there at M&R!
