I was wondering if anyone has experience with silkscreening on frosted glass. I do have a rotatory silkscreen printer.
Do I need a pre-treatment ?
Any suggestion on the ink I have to use ?
Do I need a post treatement ?
Is UV ink ok for the job?
Thanks for the help.
Re: Screenprinting of frosted glass
Henrik;
It depends on the use of the glass as to what you need to do. In most cases you can wipe the frost with alcohol or acetone, and print it with a two-part epoxy like Nazdar's ADE series with a glass catalyst. I wouldn't recommend this for anything that will be washed frequently, like in a dishwasher.
