Re: TAJIMA - what kind of port is it?
Look like an serial(COM) port.
Normally is used to load designs in to machine memory used an external disk or USB reader.
Re: TAJIMA - what kind of port is it?
Thanks for reply.

This port looks broken - missing "pin" numbers 1 and 9 (look at the screen)
Will this port work properly?
How can I test it now?
I would like to connect a female and female COM adapter to it and connect it to a USB adapter or directly to a computer.
Will it work correctly then? If not, how should I do it?
Re: TAJIMA - what kind of port is it?
Are many models of serial cable, connection.
Not all the pins are used.
You can not connect directly to an computer !
Need an special cable and software to load designs in to machine memory.
PULSE software had this facility, and maybe WILCOM,or another special software.
Re: TAJIMA - what kind of port is it?
Thanks for fast reply,
I have "dedicated" DG/ML by Pulse soft, so its not problem, but what kind of cable should I use?
Null modem should it work as well?
Re: TAJIMA - what kind of port is it?
