I asked this years ago but thought it would be better to start fresh. For the past 4 years or so I have used a "RAT" rapid fire gaming mouse. It is starting to blink out so any advice on what to get now? I only do corded as I have found the wireless cannot keep up.
Any advice appreciated in advance. THANKS!

Re: What Mouse do you prefer for digitizing?
I use a wireless ball mouse. Hated it at first because it made my thumb hurt. Now I'm lost when I use a regular mouse.

i use a wacom tablet. i used a mouse for the first year and it hurt my wrist. tried a trackball for a while and that hurt my elbow. i've been using a tablet since about 1998 and nothing hurts. it takes a couple of days to get used to, but if i try to use a mouse now, it takes me probably twice as long to digitize.

I use a corded Logitec mouse. It has been with the set up for almost 30 years now. I like the low cost optical mice because they don't sting as bad when they go on the fritz.

thank you, I like the gaming mice (lol) because you can program them. For example I have programmed this one to place center, return to center and delete backdrop art all with one click. so they do same time.

I use a G502 Gaming Mouse. While it has fewer programable buttons, It has a highly sensitive sensor and large dpi up and down buttons so I can adjust for more precision or for speed much faster.
I use my keyboard shortcuts more often for the shortcuts and for the non shortcut options I have an ultrawide monitor so ALL my flyout buttons are avaialable to me
