I'm looking at buying an older Sprint dryer (1995) to run with an auto. Does anyone have experience with Sprint dryers from the mid 90's? I'd like to know how efficient it is compared to newer models? Does the outside keep cool? Good exhaust? I'm trying to decide if it would be better to go with a newer Sprint 2000 or Heatwave. Any input would be great. Thanks.
Re: Old Sprint vs New Sprint Dryer
I don't have much knowledge of the older sprints but I will say the newer ones don't have the greatest exhaust set up. I wish there were more of a "hood vent" setup rather than just a six inch hole in the center of the dryer while shirts typically run down either side. We used to have svecia dryers that were super inefficient yet had great exhaust. I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too
