Hello again! I have, out of sheer frustration, decided to have a go at digitising a basic racing pigeon (I've bought a few but they aren't very good at all)
On the screen I'm very happy with the bird, but on stitch out it's not right at all, the beak is blunted, and the shape on the neck is all out of whack, not to mention the pull - it's on a scrap tshirt (stretchy) but I have used sulky stabilizer for strecthy material. Pull comp is set at 0.3. And my machine isn't actually trimming jump threads even though I have the scissors icon.
I've attached a couple of pictures, if anyone can advise i would be most grateful! :)
Re: on the screen v's stitch out problems help?
THAT is the art of digitizing. learning the software is the easy part. learning what works and what does not, is digitizing. first, make sure you're using a nice heavy cut away, then read the post i wrote a while back with digitizing basics. "general rules of thumb..."
