Mr. Barnes,

Hello, I've seen you on the digitsmith used equipment forums and it seems you may have a working relationship with
Southern Screen Inkstitute. It' s been a little over a month that I purchased a used Javelin from Nick James and Jason
Rodriguez for $16000. It was a 8/10 press. So far they have failed to deliver and offered an Olympian 8/10 as a replacement
stating the Javelin had a bent shaft. They don't answer phone calls or emails regularly and when they do they have nothing but
excuses. They have all the money in there hands and I'm wondering if you have anything to do with these guys or if you could help me out
in some way or tell me more about them. I'm wondering if I have got myself in a mess. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for you time.

Hello S#####(leaving customer name out),

Thank you for your email ... I am very appreciative that you have contacted me as a liaison (instead of BLASTING'em on DigitSmith) ... However ... not to be distrustful -or- accusatory -but- is it has been my experience that there are (2) sides to every story -and- reality sometimes falls in the middle (perhaps the 3rd side)

Obviously since SpiderMachines has an indirect relationship with these boys ... I have cc'd Jason, Nick, Paul, etc. on this ... Perhaps they can shed some light on their side of the topic :-?

Note: My strong suggestion is to exhaust ALL efforts to resolve this between you-and-them before posting a formal complaint on DigitSmith !!!

If necessary ... I would be happy to have a conference call between you-and-them (some times a mediator can help)

Once again ... Thank you for your email (next time hopefully on better circumstances)

Robert Barnes

Out of respect to Mark and his Website Digitsmith's new policy. I will not be pulled into the drama your trying to create. He has specifically said that any posts not related to used equipment post's not being in the proper forum can be red flag'd and if continued just being banned altogether.

I hope Cotton doesn't believe everything that you say.

Yes, got mikes TUF javelin 8/10. I have to say buying your first auto is overwhelming. and I think thats an understatement when you buy used. Phil at TUF is absolutely great. He got me up and running over the phone and email. I have to say if it wasn't for Phil's fantastic support I would be extremely deflated right now! I appreciate your help/knowledge/insight Robert.

and to anyone that has stumbled upon this looking to buy a used automatic shirt press directly from the seller or from a broker here are a few tips to make your purchase smoother.

1. Figure out how many heads you need then add 2 so you can grow into the equipment a little.
2. Do your homework on the manufacturer and their commitment to support and availability of parts.
3. Find people with the machine in question and ask about their user experience.
4. Factor in costs for maintenance and parts
5. Have a certified technician do the install. Talk to them directly and get a price quote
then budget double what they quote. (just in case)
6. Get an agreement written, signed, and notarized
7. Use a licensed escrow service to purchase the equipment. This will protect both parties.

If your a complete newbie buy a manual press first! Then if you build a sustainable client base get an automatic as soon as you can. Do not waste your time on a manual longer than you have to, like I did. It will pay for itself quickly.

ohh and buy new if you can afford it....

my 2 cents....

Mike Hennessey at Allstar Screen Printing received an Anatol Trident 10/12 and had Brannon from Pin Point Repair here in Atlanta do the install. He's our local Anatol rep/tech in Atlanta. We recommend him on any press installation he's really great. ShaNon and his family in TX are really, really, great folks, I did get a good dish of humble pie while there by my new mom in TX.. I just want to address this once and be done. I have never taken money from a client and not delivered a piece of equipment.

Thanks Big E, CNClark, Inkman996, and to the other customers who have purchased used equipment and new equipment from me, Dana, and my sales rep here in Atlanta PaulB. If your in the market for a used manual, auto or a new auto, exposure unit, dryer, supplies, ect. We would be very appreciative of any business you all give us.

Thanks,

Sunday afternoon? You must be up smoking the herb already thinking it's noon. Lol

Did you not understand what they said in the post's earlier?

No need for chunking rocks. And their excited about getting their press this week. Again, RWB had nothing, nothing to do with this deal.

Please, go cook up some breakfast for the munchy's we're sure you got.

Stop slandering and posting subject matter that does not pertain to you anymore.

Your upset that we are still selling equipment and supplies and your stuck in your trailer wishing you weren't on mommy and daddy's dime trying to survive.

Truth hurts. Doesn't it?

Stop talking to my wife and I mean like right Now! How would you like it if I spoke to your girlfriend the way you cursed on the phone at my wife the day we gave you your last paycheck and still talk to her now. You wouldn't like it! So stop.

Digitsmith knows that you've created this to stir up drama.

Leave us alone or you will be the one who needs a lawyer.

Hay Fool, who the hell do you think you are ? You are the world's biggest crook, Rember Andy, He still wants his money for that press you stole from Him. So tell me Jason how does it feel to have the truth revealed about you. People don't do business with this CONMAN-CROOK, He will take your money and leave you with a peice of garbage if you get anything at all, and by the way So is you OLD LADY yah the big mouth who thinks she's all that, well all she is , a crook just like you, hell even RWB don't like you, because of your record of crooked dealings that have followed you everywhere, SO BUYER BEWARE JASON is A Giant Crook. and that is the TRUTH>

I don't like getting involved in these he said/she said crap but I must say I purchased a Vastex 2000 from Jason last September. Everything he told me about my machine was absolutely true, it looked and preformed as if it was brand new, I paid my money and I received my machine on the date he said it would be here.

I don't like getting involved in this BS and I've never met the man personally but I would not hesitate to purchase from him again.

So Sieggy, what is it your going to do to me the next time you see me? I'd like to know. I'd like to know every little detail. By the way you've stolen as well and Even Nick has told customers of your part stealing thievery. Like how you tell folks somethings wrong even though there's really not. You then take the supposed broken parts home and then resell them as new. What a joke! lard a$$

At least either one of you guys are not denying that you've stolen something from a client.

This makes everyone want to do business with Siggie and Inkstitute. :o :o :o :o :o :o

Let me state that I Sieggy never do and never will to business with Jason, not after watching him steal form customers, I don't take good parts from customers only bad parts that I give for recyling of metal because thats all they are worth, and I sure as hell don't LIe like Jason and his old lady about paying people, or promising to fix the broken equipment they sold to unsuspecting buyers, So never try to associate Me with that crooked basterd! I take alot of offense to it , And about Nick James saying anything, about Me, Jason that is all coming out of you foul and filthy mouth, So do every one a favor and just leave the business. and crawl back into that dark hole from where you came.
