Ok..when washing screens...
I am thinking I want a wash booth with sides and a top.
That would be with just the front open.
Anyone that has this type of booth....do you feel since the top is closed...you get more spray back on the person cleaning the screens? which may be me at first....hehehehe
Re: Wash Out Booths
Ted we have what you are speaking of. We actually made them starting with shower bases, FRP 2 sides on plywood and corrug top and back side, Lights above and behind. Works great, you will get sprayed a little, but I dont think the top will make a huge difference. When we went from a smooth back (purchased unit) to a corrugated, it seemed to help alot.
Re: Wash Out Booths
Ours doesn't have a top, I think it would cause more spray back. We got a all Aluminum one from Ryonet. Cant remember brand if you want em to look I can.

Re: Wash Out Booths
We have a wash out booth specific to rou industry and it has a top, almost never is there spray back. If you do experience then put in a 6 inch plus strip across the top face to catch spray back. Plus our top is narrower than the base.
Re: Wash Out Booths
Ours is an old Chemical Consultants and it didn't come with a top. We mounted a top to it and it worked out nice.
Good luck man!

Re: Wash Out Booths
My one has top that is narrower than bottom. I get spray back sometimes when I over expose screen and have to turn blast on to blast screen bit harder:)
My logic would be if you don't have top that water would spray somewhere, usually around the sink. As I have small space, and carpet on the floor, top works great for me.
Only thing I don't like is water dripping from the top all over my arms while I am inspecting screen up against acrylic back light panel after wash up.
This is best deal on stainless steel washout booths that I know of and I am sure that quality is excellent.
