Hey all.
Ok, so I'm reaching out to anyone that might know a little electrical. I am looking into a machine that requires 400/208 3-phase power (whatever that is). Problem is, I do not have 3 phase lines coming into my building. I have three 200-amp panels, one of which is almost completely empty. The power company wants $30,000 dollars to bring a 3-phase line down to my building. Which obviously I am not going to pay.
Does anyone know a way around this?
Re: Way around 3-phase Power???
eric my brother, haha buy a phase converter. it cheats 3 phase. i had 3 phase put in 5 years ago cost me 20k after i found out there is a converter for 300 bucks.
