Hello,
As in thread title - I have trouble about thread above the stroke area in wilcom e2. Earlier, I did not have a problem with it and everything worked correctly - the problem occurs in the true view option (look at screens)
I think I accidentally choose an option and now I do not know how to fix it.
Could someone help me?
Thanks for all!
Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
Sure miss my e 3 wish i could find another or e2
Does anyone know where i can buy an old copy with a good dongle
Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
First, it looks like you're using a satin stitch, it should be a fill stitch if its over 6 mm wide.
i'm not positive what you're talking about but if you're seeing the stitches expand beyond the objects (which you would be able to see if you turn off true view), then that would be pull comp.

Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
Thanks for reply,
the problem arises when the degrees are set to 90 - then the preview is such that the stitches extends beyond the working area - well present that screenshots below and I think that you understand what I mean.
The screenshots below were auto converted from a bitmap - previously there were not problems with the same project.
Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
first, i don't auto convert anything from a bitmap. a recipe for disaster. i do everything from scratch...
but on this particular file, you need to do some serious work with your guidelines. that may save your file. your stitches should be running as close to straight left and right or up and down as possible. those really long sideways stitches are going to be a problem.
i really don't understand why they're all of a sudden going way beyond the guidelines, but i would start with adjusting your guidelines about a half inch from each turn. if you want to send me the file i can take a look at it and tell you more.

Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
They got better in e3 so Digidana you wouldn't run into it... You need to callibrate to your monitor properly (weird trueview bug that they only fixed by calibrating to moniter... ran into it with my e2) but my e2 dongle isn't plugged in at the moment to any computer... so i cant say where the calibration is in the menus.
I think its under machine setup, monitor... (they changed it between e2 and e3 so again I dont remember.
Re: Wilcom e2 - thread above the stroke area
I replied in the post above but I thought Id actually quote reply so you see it in your email... You need to calibrate wilcom to your monitor there are instructions in the help menu as well...
In e2 if wilcom wasn't calibrated to your monitor (or in reality your monitor's resolution via the sizing calibration they use) the true view was all sorts of messed up.... they fixed it by e3 though you should always calibrate so that everything is true to size (aspect ratio so weird resolutions don't distort the art)
