To add Dye Sublimation or not.

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have a small embroidery company, currently we offer embroidery, vinyl, and transfers in shop and we sub out screen printing. I don't have the space to add screen printing or the money to buy a DTG Printer. I have been looking into adding a dye sub printer to do t-shirts and other items such as mugs and am interested to hear from someone with experience as to whether it would be a good move.

Thank you in advance for any input you may have.

I have the same small business as yourselves. And I do sublimation. For me its well worth it.
How often do you get asked to put a photo on a t-shirt? Easy with subli, just print onto subli flock and press onto the t-shirt. Or a shield shaped multi coloured emblem. Just print it and cut it our with sissors. Even odd shapes are easy to do if you have the patience with sissors.
Mugs are a good add on , especially around chirstmas. Ive printed about 300 over the xmas period.
Dont buy a rubbish printer. Buy Ricoh with gel inks. The Epsons are good but need regular cleaning.
Earl.

Definitely second the advice to get a Ricoh. They are more forgiving printers and can handle being left to sit much better than an Epson can.
