I have a 2010 TEJT-II C1501 (Neo2) and a 2011 TEMX-C1501 (Neo 2+). I bought the Neo2 new and the Neo2+ used about 18 months ago. When I bought the Neo 2 I also bundled Pulse Illustrator Extreme. The software is ok, but I would really like to move to Wilcom e3. I am networked to the 2 machines via ethernet, and a router. Sending designs is very fast. At one time, I had the Neo2 connected via serial port and that was extremely slow. It would sometimes take up to 5 minutes for a design to go from my laptop to the machine.
I want to move up to Wilcom e3 BUT, I'm not sure how the connection would work. I can find instructions for serial for 1 machine but not 2.
Does anyone out there have Wilcom software and more that 1 Tajima machine connected so designs can be sent to the machine. Also, how fast/slow is sending designs via serial port with Wilcom?
Re: Connecting Wilcom to Tajima machines
I'm trying a similar configuration over Ethernet with Wilcom e4 to my Tajima TMBR-S1501C and it doesn't seem to be possible. They force you to buy the Pulse solution.
Re: Connecting Wilcom to Tajima machines
I talked to Leigh at Balboa Threadworks and according to her, it can be done. I will research more and get back to you on what I find out from her.
