needles for leather, what is working for you, we are having issues

Use the smallest size needle you have that is not a ball point. Do NOT run full density as you would on a fabric surface, as you will cut the leather, and have a nice patch for your troubles. Experiment on scraps. Find what works for your application. I used to run 10's Titanium Schmetz needles for leather at 70% of normal density on leather

Use a sharp 65-9 Titanium, <800 spm and decrease density by 10 - 25% depending on type and thickness of leather. Plan on changing your needles often as they will dull quickly, you will be able to hear as they get dull. :)
