I bought a singer futura quintet from a pawn shop $700.00 told me everything was installed on the machine, come to find out it's not and they will not give me a refund, does anyone know where I good get a copy of the installation disk? Singer has been no help at all. TIA

Where are you located? Unless you know someone locally that may let you borrow the software, or purchase a bootleg copy from Ebay, you will have to purchase the software from Singer. The Singer embroidery machine is useless without the software. Once you have the software, it is a great machine. That was totally wrong on their part, but they probably did not know anything about sewing machines either.

what does the software cost? I understand the pawn shop did not understand.. but sorry...before you purchase anything.. especially now with YouTube and Google... wouldn't you look this stuff up before? am I out of line here? I mean it is so easy to look things up now how does this type of thing happen? please comment
