Why is this such a difficult topic?
We have a prospective customer who would like workshirts for his employees and himself (probably a couple dozen shirts total.)
The shirt type is very specific and the least expensive we can find it wholesale is just under $10.
The design he wants on the back of the shirts will be around 17K stitches.
Then he wants the same design, smaller, over the right pocket - another 5K stitches.
And the employee's name over the left pocket.
So each shirt will require hooping three times and the digitizing expense is going to be quite high.
They want these shirts for around $30 each. I feel like we can do them at that price without the design on the back, but that with that design, it should be much higher.
Thoughts?
Re: Pricing...
Yes. I would try to get them to eliminate the stitch intensive back design (too many stitches for a shirt) and possibly go with nothing on the back or a much less stitch intensive web address.

Re: Pricing...
We had a customer who wanted a large design on the back that mirrored the front left chest. It was of course a lot of stitches and they didn't like teh price we gave them, so we finally ended up doing their web address. They were happy with the outcome and I still hear about ppl who say "Hey did you see so-in-so's jacket"? :)
