In regards to digitized logos.

I have a Brother PR650 and I was interested in creating a collage of various logos just to show the quality of work I do at my business. I've gathered free samples from websites such as ProDigitizing, but everything else I've found seems to be fairly crummy in terms of design quality. I do use a digitizer overseas, but I mainly work with personal business logos and I didn't wanna use those for this particular project.

Please note that I am not asking for handouts, just free designs that anyone might be willing to share. Thanks! :o

the link you provide is of mostly generic simple designs, no? what do you like to specialize in? sorry, but would you prefer to show some "wow" designs? Although I can see your point, most times the end user does not have a clue... I just hope the professionals in our industry step up and train them?

i understand your dilemma, but digitizing is 90% of the quality of the embroidery (the best embroiderer can't make a badly digitized design look good!), and if you use a digitizer for the stock designs, other than your usual digitizer, then the quality of the embroidery (good or bad) won't really be representative of your embroidery. make sense? in other words, if you want a true representation of the work that you produce, you should really ask your current digitizer for the stock designs.

i know personally that i would be happy to give my customers some free stock designs for such a project...i can't image that they would have a problem providing you with some.

I agree.. otherwise you are risking showing your client something you cannot do for them, no?

Do you specialize with a particular type of client? If you do that could make it easier to create some sort of portfolio / art piece.

For example I have a client that primarily ONLY sells to hospitals.... so we digitized a large generic hospital building outline for them... each district they get they sew an additional sample, cut it out, then use velcro to attach it to the "building" makes for an interesting collage.
