Suggestions on well rounded software?

Hi everyone!
What would you say is the "Best", "Most Economical" and "Easiest to Use" digitizing software that will allow me to digitize in the following formats : art v3, dst, sew, vip, vp3, exp, hus, jef, pcs, pes, and xxx? As well as accept pictures / drawings?
I am new to this and am having a tough time finding answers online.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

I have E2 1st level. I think there are 3 levels of E2. It is my understanding that E3 is sold by the option. You would purchase a very basic software then purchase the options you want/need. So you could have some very high level options like font creation on a basic system. This is just an example. Contact a Wilcom dealer like Balboa or Strawberry Stitch for all the details. Or Wilcom direct.

I think Compucon EOS/Barudan TES are the only ones that do xxx format. If memory serves me right even Wilcom doesn't accept those files.

However, those programs won't do art v3 or vp3, but will do all the rest.

In addition, once you learn the occasional oddity they are very good and simple programs. Like all of the software on the market, though, you have to have a good understanding of the fundamentals to use the right understitching, densities, and push/pull compensations, etc.

So which is used more? art v3 and vp3 or xxx? I really appreciate the input.

To be honest, I doubt you would find many people use any of those file types unless it is an entirely in-house set up, although Compucon xxx is probably the most common of the three.

Normally files would be used in Tajima DST, as they are the most universal, followed by the other particular machine types: Barudan, Happy, ZSK, etc.

However, you need to bear in mind there are two distinct groups: those that just contain stitch data (length, direction, and type of stitch or machine code) and those that contain digitized points and parameters.

The first type will not be as easy to edit within programs, although it can be done as seen using Wilcom Trusizer (their free software).

As to Viking software, it probably does a job, but don't expect much sophistication. If you know what you're doing it is likely you can get decent designs. I can't tell you how easy that might be though.
