Even though the thread ISN'T broke.
We have a SWF/A-T1201 Single Head Automatic Embroidery Machine (12 heads)
This happens usually at the beginning of the project.
It happens randomly on all the needles.
We're thinking that it is a "check spring" adujustment.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do?

Re: SWF/A-T1201 reports "broken thread"
Has everything been cleaned? Whenever I have stops that aren't due to a fray or a "pull-out" lint is usually the cause.

Hi Jennifer, Yes, I believe the machine has been cleaned and oiled to the best humanly possible. We're going to finely calibrate the tension sensors and see if that works.

Re: SWF/A-T1201 reports "broken thread"
Sometimes the thread can come off the thread break sensor. Look at that little wheel just below the thread tensioner. If the thread isn't wrapped around it, your machine will show a thread break everytime. If you can't tell, start the machine and watch that little wheel to see if it turns. If it doesn't, then the machine will stop and think it has a thread break.
Re: SWF/A-T1201 reports "broken thread"
Thanks for the heads up. :) This machine is very new to us and has a learning curve that we're getting to know. I will examine that little wheel as the machine is running to verify that it is in fact turning.
