Vinyl Cutter

I would like a vinyl cutter so that I can make simple shapes and letters. I plan on putting the vinyl on acrylics - like clipboards and cups or making monograms for windows. It does not need to be a high volume vinyl cutter because it will not be used on a daily basis - probably only used once a week or so.

I am looking for something inexpensive and that is 24". One on a stand or desktop. My lettering will not be large, but I read that it is easier to find rolls of vinyl in 24" versus 12."

Also -what type software would I need?
Any recommendations on where to buy the vinyl rolls from and which type to buy? I tried looking up vinyl and see that there are different types.

Thanks for any help!

I really like my USCutter, it's great, even if it is not working with Mac and has no materials basket either. There are so many free svg/s out there, I'm working on a Valentine's project with some svg/s from https://www.svgdesigns.com/list/svg/freesvgdesigns

I have the used SignLab Cut Pro and SignLab Vinyl Pro software with usb dongle for sale.
Let me know if you are interested.

if your just starting out go with UScutter. You can find them on Ebay a lot.
They give you everything you need minus the vinyl and a exacto knife.
they even give you a software to work with.

@Justin_PalmTees

I got a FastPlot vinyl cutters from macroenter.com, i was looking at us cutter and didn't like that they had a trillion of spam listings on ebay. personally i find that sick. Macro enter was friendly and offered free tech support so i went with them. So far i've been making all sorts of decorations for walls and even got made some hotrod decals for my husband and some of his buddies lol!

Thanks for the link, I'll check out sign-mart.com and your site. I'm looking to have some vinyl work done too.
